KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Kereta Cepat Indonesia (KCI) Whoosh di kawasan Bogowonto Culinary Center (BCC) Kota Madiun resmi beroperasi. Itu setelah proyek milik Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) diresmikan Walikota Madiun, Maidi, Jum’at (29/12).
Walikota Maidi mengatakan, KCI Whoosh itu dapat digunakan untuk ruang pertemuan, khususnya tamu VIP. Lokasi itu digadang-gadang mampu menjadi ikon wisata baru di Kota Madiun.
“KCI Whoosh yang ada di Kota Madiun ini tidak ada goyangnya sedikit pun bangunannya. Ini nanti untuk VIP, bisa digunakan untuk rapat, menampung 50 orang,” katanya usai peremian.
Untuk itu ia mengapresiasi DPUPR yang dinilai sukses membangun proyek miliaran rupiah tersebut. Hanya saja, evaluasinya lokasi itu kedepan akan terus disempurnakan.
Termasuk ada penambahan membran. Dengan demikian, KCI Whoosh itu lebih nyaman ketika dikunjungi tamu VIP.
“Bisa langsung digunakan ini setelah diremikan, kalau ada tamu VIP bisa langsung kesini,” ucapnya.
Selain meresmikan KCI Whoosh di BCC, walikota juga meresmikan proyek lain milik DPUPR. Yaitu pembangunan Pasar Kawak, replika tugu Monas, pembangunan pagar di Yonif Para Raider 501/BY Madiun. Kemudian peresmian bantuan rehab bangunan di Pondok Pesantren Riyadhul Jannah, lapak rimba dharma, lapak Semendung, serta bantuan rehab gereja Mater Dei Madiun. (*)
