KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Masyarakat Kota Madiun diminta waspada. Sebab aksi dugaan penipuan mengaku pejabat di lingkup Pemerintah Kota Madiun kembali terjadi.
Kali ini ada aksi penipuan yang dilakukan oknum mengatasnamakan dua orang pejabat. Masing-masing mengaku sebagai Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah serta mencatut nama Kepala Kepala Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman (Disperkim) Kota Madiun, Jemakir.
Seperti kejadian serupa sebelumnya, pelaku melakukan aksinya melalui aplikasi chatting WhatsApp (WA) dengan mengatasnamakan sebagai pejabat terkait. Bahkan di foto profilnya memakai foto pejabat terkait untuk meyakinkan calon korban.
‘’Pertama ada laporan dari salah seorang kabid saya sekitar siang. Dia mengkonfirmasi apakah saya berganti nomor. Karena ada WA masuk dengan nomor baru,’’ kata Thariq, Selasa (20/6).
Thariq pun langsung membantah. Dia juga tidak memperdulikan. Namun, menjelang sore dia mendapat laporan kembali dari dua kabid lainnya. Nomor yang mengirim pesan tersebut juga sama. Pelaku menggunakan nomor +62 852 8006 2545. Thariq menambahkan salah seorang kabidnya juga sempat menelpon nomor tersebut namun tidak diangkat.
‘’Karena cukup meresahkan, saya laporkan di grup. Ternyata ada satu lagi yang juga namanya dipakai seseorang,’’ tuturnya.
Pejabat satunya tersebut adalah Kepala Disperkim Jemakir. Pelaku kali ini menggunakan nomor +62 852 8006 2506. Agar lebih menyakinkan pelaku menamai profil WA-nya dengan nama Jemakir 2. Hal itu diduga agar korban mengira nomor kedua dari pejabat terkait.
‘’Sementara baru ada dua laporan ini. Semoga tidak ada lagi. Dan saya dengan pak Jemakir tidak mengganti nomor. Artinya, kalau ada nomor baru mengatasnamakan kami, bisa dipastikan itu penipuan,’’ tandasnya. (*)
