KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pembangunan Pondok Lansia di area Bumi Semendung, Kelurahan Klegen Kota Madiun hingga pertengahan Juni tercapai 32 persen. Saat ini pembangunannya terus dikebut karena ditargetkan Oktober tahun ini tuntas.
Walikota Madiun, Maidi mengatakan, pihaknya terus mengawal pembangunan Pondok Lansia itu. Sebab ia tidak ingin gagal, karena Pondok Lansia merupakan salah satu proyek strategis Pemkot Madiun.
“Tidak minus progresnya, ini yang penting. Tahun ini harus bisa ditempati, karena yang daftar sudah banyak. Ini saya kawal terus, karena kalau nggak bisa selesai, dosa itu,” ujar walikota, Jum’at (16/6).
Seperti diketahui, proyek pembangunan Pondok Lansia milik Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) setempat dianggarkan sekitar Rp9,3 Miliar. Anggaran miliaran rupiah itu digunakan untuk membangun dua asrama besar, masing-masing asrama setidaknya ada 40 kamar.
Anggaran Rp9,3 Miliar belum termasuk pembangunan masjid yang akan dibangun di antara dua asrama, anggarannya sebesar Rp 3,5 miliar. Saat ini pelaksana proyek pembangunan pondok lansia adalah CV. Cipta Naga Abadi, serta konsultan pengawas PT. Skala Pilar Lima. (*)
