“Kita sudah me replika ikon dunia. Lengkap sudah enam 6 negara disini. Harapannya 10 juta penduduk di sekitar Madiun bisa berwisata di Kota Madiun,” ucapnya.
Diresmikannya berbagai proyek strategis tersebut diharapkan bisa meningkatkan dan menjadi magnet baru wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Kota Pendekar. Apalagi pengunjung yang datang bukan hanya warga Madiun, tetapi sekitar Madiun dan kota-kota besar di Jawa Timur, dan Jawa Tengah.
Walikota juga menyebut, tahun depan masih akan ada lagi ikon negara yang dibangun. Antara lain Tembok Cina, Piramida Mesir, dan Burj Khalifa salah satu menara tertinggi yang ada di Dubai.
