KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun menuntaskan pengerjaan jalan penghubung dua kelurahan. Yakni Banjarejo ke Manisrejo.
Kepala DPUPR, Thariq Megah mengatakan, jalan penghubung itu tepatnya di samping Lapak UMKM Kelurahan Banjarejo. Jalan baru tersebut membelah areal persawahan.
Jalan sepanjang 500 meter tersebut kini dapat diakses masyarakat. Yakni bisa sebagai penghubung ke Lapak UMKM Pagu Indah Kelurahan Manisrejo.
‘’Sementara hanya sampai cor beton. Untuk pengaspalan kita melihat kondisi ke depan,” ujarnya, Selasa (22/8).
Jika butuh diaspal, lanjutnya, DPUPR akan melakukan pengaspalan.
Thariq menyebut, pembangunan jalan penghubung itu sebelumnya dianggarkan sekitar Rp913 juta.
Selain pengecoran, keberadaan jalan itu juga sudah ditambah lampu penerangan umum. Setidaknya ada 17 PJU dengan ketinggian tujuh meter.
‘’Prinsipnya sementara seperti itu. Biarpun begitu itu sudah bisa dan layak dilalui,’’ ungkapnya.
Dengan dibangunnya jalan baru tersebut, kedepan diharapkan semakin mempermudah dan mempercepat akses masyarakat. khususnya, bagi yang mengunjungi Lapak UMKM Banjarejo dan Lapak UMKM Manisrejo.
Kedua lokasi tersebut dapat dijangkau lebih dekat. Selain itu juga dapat dimanfaatkan warga untuk berolahraga lari. (*)
