KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pembangunan menara Masjid Nur Hidayatulloh Kuncen diprediksi lebih cepat selesai dari waktu yang ditentukan. Ini karena progres pekerjaan di minggu pertama menunjukkan angka positif.
Walikota Madiun, Maidi pun memberikan apresiasi terkait progres pekerjaan tersebut karena mengalami surplus.
‘’Ini cukup bagus ya. Pekerjaan lebih cepat dari yang direncanakan,’’ kata Walikota saat meninjau proyek rehab Menara Masjid Kuncen, Rabu (26/7).
Seperti diketahui, pembangunan menara Masjid Kuncen menjadi perhatian Walikota Maidi. Sebab, pembangunan bisa mendongkrak perekonomian lokal.
Apalagi Masjid Kuno Kuncen menjadi salah satu tujuan wisata religi di Kota Pendekar. Dengan hadirnya menara tersebut diharapkan semakin memperkuat potensi wisata di sana.
‘’Masjid ini kekunoannya harus tetap terjaga. Karena ini nanti juga menjadi wisata religi. Embrionya sudah ada,’’ jelasnya.
Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah menyebut progres pekerjaan di minggu pertama ini sudah mencapai 6,051 persen. Padahal, jika mengacu rencana pekerjaan harusnya baru di 0,253 persen. Artinya, pekerjaan sudah surplus 5,798 persen.
‘’Pembangunan menara ini memang kita targetkan lebih cepat dari yang direncanakan berakhir pada awal Desember,” ungkapnya.
Pembangunan menara tidak meninggalkan konsep kuno seperti yang masih melekat di Masjid Kuncen. Bahkan, desain menara sengaja melibatkan ahli dari Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Trowulan. Ini mengingat Masjid Kuncen masuk benda cagar budaya.
‘’Jadi menara ini tidak meninggalkan konsep cagar budaya. Untuk desainnya kita berkonsultasi dengan ahlinya di Trowulan,’’ pungkasnya. (*)
