KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun melakukan normalisasi saluran air di Jalan Mayjen Sungkono. Normalisasi itu dilakukan sepanjang 600 meter.
Kepala Bidang (Kabid) Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air (PSDA) DPUPR Kota Madiun, Suyanto mengatakan, dengan adanya proyek tersebut maka perlu dilakukan pengalihan arus lalu lintas (lalin) untuk mempercepat proses pembangunan.
“Kami sudah koordinasi dengan kepolisian dan Dinas Perhubungan, mulai 25 Mei sudah diberlakukan jalan satu arah,” katanya, Rabu (31/5).
Pemberlakuan jalan satu arah (one way) ini dilakukan bersamaan dengan mobilisasi alat berat dari pihak rekanan.
Suyanto menjelaskan normalisasi saluran dimulai dari depan RSI Siti Aisyah Madiun sampai perempatan Manguharjo. Pun anggaran yang digelontorkan Pemkot Madiun sekitar Rp2,3 miliar.
Pekerjaan diawali dengan pembongkaran trotoar lama, kemudian dipasang reinforced concrete box (RCB). Setelah itu baru dibangun pedestrian seperti halnya sisi timur jalan. (*)
