KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Proyek revitalisasi pedestrian di kawasan Jalan dr Soetomo Kota Madiun terus dikebut. Saat ini pedestrian yang dibangun sepanjang 800 meter itu progresnya telah mencapai 15-20 persen.
Kepala Bidang Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, percepatan terus dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi penghentian sementara pekerjaan fisik saat hari raya Idul Fitri nanti.
“Secara progres untuk pembangunan trtoar sisi barat itu sekitar 15-20 persen,” katanya, Jum’at (24/3).
Thariq menyebut, untuk pembangunan pedestrian sisi barat itu, melanjutkan proyek yang sebelumnya ada. Yakni dimulai dari simpang tiga jalan Panglima Sudirman hingga Jalan Jawa. Saat ini, lanjutnya, pembongkaran trotoar lama hingga perbaikan saluran dan pembuatan bak kontrol telah menyentuh depan RSUD dr Soedono.
“Lebar trotoar rata-rata 3,5 meter. Dengan ketinggian dari permukaan aspal sekitar 25-30 sentimeter,” tambahnya.
