KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pemkot Madiun tidak berhentinya berbenah. Kali ini pusat kuliner di dalam gerbong kereta Jalan Bogowonto, kembali dipercantik. Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) akan membangun kereta mirip kereta cepat Shinkansen yang ada di Sumber Wangi sekaligus sebagai gapura di kawasan Bogowonto Culinary Center (BCC) yang mengarah ke Jalan Kutai.
Kabid Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, kereta tersebut dibangun untuk ruang VIP. Pun nantinya juga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk ruang rapat maupun pertemuan.
“Itu bangunannya permanen. Intinya dibikin kereta di atas. Jadi gapuranya ya include dengan itu,” ujarnya, Senin (6/3).
Saat ini kata Thariq, masih dalam proses review perencanaan. Kemungkinan dua minggu lagi bisa dimulai pengerjaannya dan Agustus nanti diharapkan tuntas dikerjakan. Pun untuk merealisasikan itu, Pemkot Madiun menganggarkan sekitar Rp2 miliar.
Adapun kereta yang akan dibangun itu tingginya sekitar 5 meter dari aspal. Kemudian lebarnya 3,5 meter dengan panjang 18 meter.
“Kita harus sharing juga dengan INKA, karena yang mengetahui soal perkeretaapian,” pungkasnya. (*)
