Untuk itu, Walikota Madiun, Maidi turun ke jalan untuk melihat pengaspalan dan pemeliharaan jalan. Sa;ah satunya terlihat di Jalan Doho, Kelurahan Winongo, Senin kemarin (25/3).
“Saya cek sendiri, semua jalan di kota ini harus bagus. Saya minta hari raya nanti, semua pekerjaan perbaikan, dan perawatan jalan, harus selesai,” ujarnya.
Orang nomor satu di Kota Pendekar Madiun ini memang getol turun ke lapangan untuk melihat secara langsung kendala yang dialami. Itu menurutnya, bagian dari pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
Ia meminta Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) segera mengebut pekerjaan. Sehingga harapannya, jalan di Kota Madiun kondisinya prima, untuk dilalui para pemudik.
“Harus dikebut, dan harus tuntas. Jadi pemudik yang melintas, maupun yang ke Madiun ini bisa nyaman jika akses jalannya itu bagus,” pungkasnya. (*)
