KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun terus mengebut proyek pembangunan menara Masjid Nur Hidayatulloh Kuncen atau masjid Kuncen di Kota Madiun. Ini mengingat proyek tersrbut sesuai kontrak ditargetkan selesai awal Desember mendatang.
Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR Kota Madiun Sulistya Pambudi mengatakan, hingga minggu ke-11, progres pengerjaan di lapangan menyentuh angka 48,9 persen dari target awal 47,6 persen. Artinya proyek tersebut mengalami surplus 1,3 persen.
“Saat ini pekerjaan arsitektur sudah menginjak pemasangan bata tempel, kusen pintu dan jendela,” ujarnya, Jum’at (6/10).
Adapun pembangunan pondasi, struktur balok, plat, kolom seluruhnya tuntas dikerjakan. Melihat progresnya mengalami surplus, Uut sapaan akrabnya optimis pembangunan menara masjid Kuncen, selesai tepat waktu.
“Kami tetap optimis, proyek ini bisa selesai tepat waktu,” tambahnya.
Seperti diketahui, pembangunan menara Masjid Kuncen yang dianggarkan sekitar Rp1,3 Miliar menjadi perhatian pemkot. Sebab, keberadaannya bisa mendongkrak perekonomian lokal.
Apalagi Masjid Kuno Kuncen menjadi salah satu tujuan wisata religi di Kota Pendekar. Dengan hadirnya menara tersebut diharapkan semakin memperkuat potensi wisata di sana.
Pembangunan menara tidak meninggalkan konsep kuno seperti yang masih melekat di Masjid Kuncen. Bahkan, desain menara sengaja melibatkan ahli dari Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Trowulan. Ini mengingat Masjid Kuncen masuk benda cagar budaya. (*)
