KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun kembali menata tenda UMKM di Kawasan Pahlawan Religi Center (PRC). Artinya pelapak yang menempati lokasi itu tidak lagi menggunakan tenda, melainkan akan dibuatkan tempat lapak permanen.
Kabid Cipta Karya Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun Sulistya Pambudi mengatakan, kemungkinan minggu depan sudah dikirim ke unit layanan pengadaan (ULP) untuk dilelang.
“Ya paling sebulan setelah itu bisa dimulai pengerjaan,’’ katanya, Kamis (23/2).
Uut, sapaannya, menyebut desain lapak untuk kawasan PRC tersebut juga berciri timur tengah. Hal itu sengaja agar setema dengan kawasan mushola Ka’bah. Seperti penataan tenda saat ini, pembangunan lapak permanen tersebut nantinya juga ada di kanan dan kiri musala Ka’bah.
Jumlahnya sementara ada 20 lapak. Namun jumlah itu masih bisa berubah. Uut menyebut desain masih sedikit ada perubahan. Untuk anggaran pembangunannya sekitar Rp3 miliar.
‘’Kemarin masih ada sedikit perubahan desainnya. Ini masih kita hitung lagi jumlahnya. Tapi paling tidak ada sepuluh di kanan dan kiri. Dimungkinkan ada penambahan,’’ tuturnya.
Seperti diketahui, Walikota Madiun, Maidi berencana memberikan fasilitas kepada pedagang di kawasan PRC. Ide itu semakin mengemuka usai walikota melaksanakan umrah beberapa waktu lalu. Di sana walikota mendapati ada penataan lapak umkm di kawasan wisata. Karenanya, Maidi ingin menerapkannya di Kota Pendekar.
‘’Selain di kawasan PRC, kita juga tengah mengerjakan rehab untuk kawasan Pahlawan Bisnis Center (PBC),’’ pungkasnya. (*)
