KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pembangunan instalasi pengolahan lumpur tinja (IPLT) di kawasan TPA Winongo telah rampung. Bersamaan itu, Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun memproses rencana pengoperasian IPLT tahun depan.
‘’Insya Allah sebelum pertengahan tahun depan sudah bisa beroperasi,’’ kata Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR Kota Madiun Hesti Setyorini, Jumat (27/12).
Ditanya target operasional, Hesti menyebut IPLT beroperasi optimal pada pertengahan tahun depan. Sebab, DPUPR butuh waktu untuk menyiapkan sarana penunjang serta operator IPLT.
‘’Kami siapkan dulu tenaga operasionalnya. IPLT butuh petugas dengan keahlian khusus,’’ ujarnya.
Menurut Hesti, proyek pembangunan IPLT tahun ini murni bersumber dari DAK APBN. IPLT dinilai perlu dibangun guna pemenuhan sanitasi dan peningkatan taraf kesehatan masyarakat. Salah satunya, menjaga kualitas air tanah maupun air baku dan menciptakan lingkungan bersih.
