Replika Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung (KCJB) akhirnya berada di Jalan H. Agus Salim. Itu seiring pemasangan bodi duplikat kereta listrik tercepat di Indonesia itu di atas pilar penyangga di kawasan Bogowonto Culinary Center (BCC), Senin malam (6/11).
Rencananya, KCJB akan dioperasionalkan sebagai resto mewah pada Desember mendatang. Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, usai pemasangan KCJB, tahap berikutnya menyentuh pengerjaan interior.
“Jadi wujud KCJB sementara ini hanya berupa rangkaian bodi. Setelah terpasang, pihak rekanan pelaksana mulai mengerjakan pengecoran lantai, pemasangan interior dan pembangunan tangga sebagai akses masuk KCJB,” ujarnya.
Untuk konsep interior, lanjut dia, akan didesain bak resto mewah di dalam kereta. Thariq menjelaskan, replika KCJB dibuat sepanjang 27 meter dengan lebar 4,5 meter.
Kemudian, replika kereta tersebut dipasang di pilar penyangga setinggi 5,5 meter di atas permukaan aspal jalan. Untuk posisinya, kereta sejajar dengan Jalan H. Agus Salim atau melintang di ruas Jalan Bogowonto. Pemkot menyediakan anggaran sekitar Rp1,9 miliar untuk merealisasikan proyek tersebut.
‘’Bodi replika KCJB ini cukup panjang dan beratnya sekitar 9 ton, pemasangan ke atas pilar akan dilakukan bertahap. Bodi KCJB dibagi tiga bagian saat diangkat ke atas,’’ tambahnya.
Thariq mengklaim progres proyek ini on schedule. Bahkan, realisasinya tercatat mengalami percepatan dari target. Dalam jadwal pekan ke 13 ini, progresnya mencapai 89 persen.
