KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Proyek pembangunan Masjid Pondok Lansia senilai Rp4,3 Miliar di kawasan Lapak Bumi Semendung, Kelurahan Klegen, Kota Madiun saat ini terus berproses. Bahkan progresnya menyentuh angka 57 persen.
Kepala Bidang Cipta Karya pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun, Sulistya Pambudi mengatakan, pengerjaan proyek telah menyentuh pemasangan glassfibre rainforced cement (GRC) kubah Masjid. Konsepnya, akan dibuat layaknya Masjid Quba di Madinah, Arab Saudi.
“Untuk kubah enamel mulai proses pemasangan. Jadi target kita awalnya pemasangan enamel itu di bulan November, tapi ternyata vendor dan materialnya sudah ada di lokasi, makanya bisa mulai kita pasang hari ini,” kata Uut sapaan akrabnya, Kamis (26/10/2023).
Seperti diketahui, dalam proyek ini, ada tiga item pekerjaan utama yang dikerjakan. Yakni pembangunan satu unit Masjid, perkerasan kawasan Masjid, dan gapura.
“Insya Allah pengerjaan selesai sesuai target pada Desember nanti,” terangnya.
Uut mengatakan, pembangunan Masjid tersebut menjadi salah satu proyek pelengkap pondok lansia. Menurut dia, pengerjaan perlu segera dirampungkan agar pondok yang sudah selesai dikerjakan dapat beroperasi akhir tahun ini.
‘’Kalau asrama pondok sudah selesai dan ini masih menunggu pengerjaan Masjid,’’ ucapnya.
Sementara itu tim Pengamanan Pembangunan Strategis (PPS) Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kota Madiun turut meninjau lokasi proyek. Tim PPS, ingin mengetahui progres, serta kendala yang dialami di lapangan, mengingat pembangunan pondok lansia menjadi salah satu proyek strategis Pemkot Madiun. (*)
