KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Perkerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun tuntas merevitalisasi sendang Kuncen, di Kelurahan Kuncen, Kecamatan Taman. Proyek senilai Rp687 itu selesai dikerjakan pekan lalu.
Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR Kota Madiun Sulistya Pambudi mengatakan, tujuan dilakukannya revitalisasi itu sebagai upaya untuk mengembalikan wujud Sendang Kuncen. Terutama setelah proses ekskavasi Balai Pelestarian Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Trowulan pada 2021 lalu.
“Alhamdulillah revitalisasi sendang Kuncen sudah selesai 100 persen,” ujarnya, Rabu (25/10).
Uut sapaan akrab Sulistya Pambudi menyebut, konsep revitalisasi sendang Kuncen sebelumnya sudah dikoordinasikan dengan Balai Pelestari Cagar Budaya (BPCB) Trowulan. Pun bangunannya juga disesuaikan dengan model bangunan Masjid Kuno Kuncen.
“Yang jelas kami tidak asal membangun, tapi sudah dikoordinasikan dengan BPCB,” tambahnya.
Saat ini, kolam seluas 404 meter persegi tersebut dibangun berundak dengan di tengahnya ada sumur sebagai sumber air. Kemudian, konstruksi sendang berikut pemasangan pagarnya diperbarui dengan susunan bata terakota. (*)
