KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun tahun ini akan memermak trotoar di kawasan Masjid Kuno Kuncen. Bangunan yang ada akan direvitalisasi menjadi jalur pedestrian.
Kabid Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, konsep pembangunannya tidak jauh berbeda dengan pedestrian yang sudah ada saat ini. Hanya saja, akan ada sentuhan religi mengingat salah satu masjid bersejarah di Kota Madiun ini tengah dipercantik dengan pembangunan menara.
“Saat ini masih proses lelang, diperkirakan akhir Maret nanti sudah tanda tangan kontrak. Target pengerjaanya lima bulan (Agustus.red), tapi kita upayakan Juli sudah selesai,” ujarnya, Selasa (7/3).
Thariq menjelaskan, pedestrian dibangun di jalan sisi timur dan selatan masjid. Hanya saja lebarnya tidak sama. Di jalan sisi timur lebarnya 2,5 meter. Sedangkan sisi selatan hanya 1,2 meter.
“Prinsipnya, lebar trotoar kami sesuaikan volume jalan,” terangnya.
Adapun panjang total 900 meter. Untuk ketinggian trotoar rata-rata 25 sentimeter dari permukaan aspal. Lantai trotoar menggunakan material granit. Pun, dilengkapi bak kontrol untuk memaksimalkan sistem drainase kawasan atau mengantisipasi genangan air. Untuk merealisasikan proyek tersebut, pemkot menyediakan anggaran sekitar Rp 2,5 miliar di APBD 2023. (*)
