KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun merespon keluhan masyarakat terkait adanya jalan berlubang yang menjadi coverage area Kota Madiun. Setidaknya ada 120 jalan berlubang di sepanjang jalan protokol yang saat ini masih dalam proses penambalan.
Kepala Bidang Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, 120 titik jalan berlubang itu di antaranya di Jalan Mastrip, Jalan Abdurrahman Saleh maupun di Jalan Gajah Mada. Sebelum dilakukan penambalan, petugas DPUPR melakukan identifikasi. Kemudian ditandai, baru dilakukan penambalan.
“Intinya ini demi keamanan pengguna jalan, karena kalau berlubang takutnya ada yang jatuh,” ujarnya, Rabu (22/2).
Penambalan ini kata Thariq masuk dalam pemeliharaan rutin jalan. Pun untuk penambalan itu dianggarkan sekitar Rp70 juta dari APBD 2023.
“Kita targetkan sebelum lebaran itu tidak ada jalan berlubang,” tambahnya.
Setidaknya, DPUPR memiliki 22 orang petugas yang masuk dalam tim pemeliharaan jalan. Mereka dibagi beberapa tugas, di antaranya melakukan inspeksi dan survei jalan, penambalan jalan maupun pemeliharaan lain seperti pembersihan bahu jalan.
Disatu sisi ia juga mengharapkan partisipasi masyarakat, ketika mengetahui keberadaan lubang-lubang jalan agar disampaikan ke DPUPR untuk segera ditindaklanjuti. Yang menjadi skala prioritas untuk dilakukan penambalan, kata Thariq, diutamakan di jalan protokol terlebih dahulu.
“Prioritas kita di jalan protokol dulu sepanjang jalan kota, toh nanti ke jalan lingkungan juga. Kita upayakan semaksimal mungkin lah untuk melayani masyarakat,” pungkasnya. (*)
