KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun tahun ini Kembali melanjutkan pembangunan proyek pedestrian. Kali ini berada di Jalan dr. Soetomo sisi barat, tepatnya mulai simpang tiga Jalan Panglima Sudirman hingga ke Jalan Jawa.
Proyek tersebut awal Februari ini sudah masuk tender. Kepala Bidang Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun, Thariq Megah mengatakan, pedestrian yang akan dibangun di lokasi itu kurang lebih sepanjang 800 meter. Lebarnya bervariasi rata-rata 3,5 meter.
Kemudian tinggi pedestrian dari permukaan badan jalan sekitar 25-30 sentimeter. Thariq menyebutm konsep serta material kurang lebih sama dengan trotoar yang sudah dibangun sebelumnya.
“Kami jadwalkan akhir Februari ini sudah ada tanda tangan kontrak dengan rekanan pemenang tender,” ujarnya, Minggu (12/2).
Saat ini, lanjut Thariq, lelang pekerjaan konstruksi bangunan pelengkap Jalan dr Soetomo itu masuk tahap pengumuman pascakualifikasi. Pagu anggarannya sekitar Rp3,5 miliar. Rencananya, pembangunan fisik tersebut mulai dikerjakan awal Maret. Thariq menyebutkan, pekerjaan pedestrian tersebut diperkirakan selesai dalam lima bulan. Artinya, Juli mendatang ditargetkan tuntas dikerjakan.
“Untuk sementara revitalisasi trotoar tahun ini hanya disitu saja,” tambahnya.
Menurut Thariq, revitalisasi pedestrian itu sangat urgen mengingat kondisi trotoar yang ada saat ini butuh perbaikan agar layak untuk pejalan kaki. Seperti yang sudah dibangun sebelumnya, pedestrian baru nanti juga ramah disabilitas dan lansia. (*)
