KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pemkot Madiun melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) melakukan penataan jaringan utilitas di sejumlah ruas jalan protokol. Salah satunya di Jalan Pahlawan, Selasa malam (26/7).
Walikota Madiun, Maidi mengatakan, penataan jaringan komunikasi itu dilakukan seiring dengan keinginannya menata kota. Pun agar keberadaannya tidak semrawut karena dapat merusak pemandangan.
“Ini sudah progres semua. Karena trotoar mau jadi, mau tidak mau ya jaringannya ya dimasukkan ke bawah tanah (ducting.red),” ujarnya.
Ia mengklaim semua vendor antusias membangun kota. Penataan itu ditargetkan rampung dua hingga tiga bulan kedepan. Saat ini yang menjadi skala prioritas adalah jaringan utilitas di tengah kota. Kedepan juga menyasar jaringan utilitas di pinggir kota.
“Semuanya welcome karena kebaikan kota ini kebahagiaan kita bersama,” terangnya.
Sementara itu Kepala DPUPR, Suwarno mengungkapkan, penataan jaringan utilitas itu dilakukan secara bertahap. Sementara ini diprioritaskan di Jalan Pahlawan, Panglima Sudirman, dr. Sutomo serta Jalan Bogowonto.
“Yang jelas ini bertahap. Kalau dari pihak provider tidak hadir ya jaringannya kita potong. Yang sudah hadir ya tidak dipotong,” ucapnya.
Suwarno menegaskan, jika terjadi kesulitan di lapangan, Pemkot akan turun tangan. Jika diperlukan alat berat pun akan diterjunkan.
“Misalnya crossing ada kusiltan alat berat kita turunkan. Dari teman provider juga sudah komitmen untuk menata kota,” pungkasnya. (*)
