Usai replika Menara Jam Big Ben tuntas dikerjakan, kali ini dinas pekerjaan umum dan penataan ruang (DPUPR) mengebut proyek pembangunan replika kereta Cepat Jakarta—Bandung (KCJB) di Jalan H. Agus Salim. Rencananya, KCJB akan dipasang di kawasan Bogowonto Culinary Center (BCC) dalam waktu dekat.
‘’Prorges realiasi pekan lalu sudah menyentuh 58 persen selesai. Baik pembangunan pilar penyangga maupun pembuatan replika KCJB,’’ kata Kabid Bina Marga DPUPR Kota Madiun Agus Tri Sukamto kemarin (30/10).
Menurut Agus, saat ini pihak rekanan pelaksana proyek tengah mengebut pembuatan replika KCJB. Progres pengerjaannya menyentuh finishing.
Meliputi pendempulan serta pengecatan bodi kereta. Estimasinya butuh waktu satu hingga dua pekan ke depan hingga pembuatan replika KCJB benar-benar rampung.
“Awal November kemungkinan bodi kereta sudah bisa digeser (dikirim, Red) ke Jalan H. Agus Salim,” ungkapnya.
Agus menjelaskan, replika KCJB diuat sepanjang 27 meter dengan lebar 5 meter. Kemudian, replika kereta tersebut dipasang di pilar penyangga setinggi 5 meter di atas permukaan aspal jalan.
Untuk posisinya, kereta sejajar dengan Jalan H Agus Salim atau melintang di ruas Jalan Bogowonto. Pemkot menyediakan anggaran sekitar Rp1,9 miliar untuk merealisasikan proyek tersebut.
‘’Karena replika KCJB ini cukup panjang dan beratnya sekitar 20 sampai 30 ton, pemasangan ke atas pilar akan dilakukan bertahap. Bodi KCJB dibagi tiga bagian saat diangkat ke atas,’’ tambahnya.
Dia mengklaim progres proyek ini on schedule. Bahkan, realisasinya tercatat mengalami percepatan dari target rencana. ‘
“Untuk pemasangan replika KCJB ke atas pilar tidak butuh waktu lama. Mungkin sekitar tiga sampai empat hari selesai,’’ sebutnya.
Kendati kelak replika KCJB telah terpasang, lanjut dia, kereta tersebut belum dapat difungsikan sebagai tempat kuliner seperti kereta lainnya di BCC. Pasalnya, paket proyek yang saat ini digarap belum termasuk pengerjaan mebeler.
