KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pemkot Madiun melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) tahun ini kembali merealisasikan pembangunan Pondok Lansia tahap kedua di Kelurahan Klegen. Lokasi pembangunannya berada persis di sebelah utara Masjid Raudhatul Jannah di kawasan serupa.
Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR, Hesti Setyorini mengatakan, saat ini rekanan sudah memulai pekerjaan di lapangan. Mulai pengukuran, penyiapan serta galian pondasi.
“Targetnya enam bulan. Kalau surat perintah mulai kerja atau SPMKnya itu 15 Mei, berarti s selesainya ya pada 10 November tahun ini,” ujarnya, Selasa (28/5).
Pada pembangunan tahap dua ini, ada sejumlah bangunan yang bakal didirikan. Khusus asrama, akan dibangun di lahan seluas 920 meter persegi.
“Asramanya ada dua, yaitu untuk yang mandiri dan ngebrok atau non potensial itu,” tambahnya.
Di lokasi yang sama juga bakal dibangun ruang serbaguna, gudang, dapur, ruang pengelola dabn lanskap. Setidaknya proyek tersebut dianggarkan sekitar Rp8,6 Miliar.
“Pondok lansia tahap dua ini menjadi proyek strategis pemkot sebagai pemberdayaan serta penyejahteraan warga kota, terutama para lansia ngebrok sebatang kara,” tandasnya. (*)
