KOTA MADIUN (DinaPUPR) –Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Madiun tahun ini akan merevitalisasi Pasar Sonokeling atau eks Pasar Pancasila, di Jalan Mayjend Sungkono. Proyek tersebut dianggarkan sekitar Rp2 Miliar.
Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR Kota Madiun Hesti Setyorini mengatakan, anggaran tersebut include dengan penataan kawasan Saluran Pancasila yang sudah lebih dulu dibangun tahun lalu. Adapun Pasar Sonokeling itu memanfaatkan luas lantai seluas 616 meter persegi, dengan luasan terbangun sekitar 143 meter persegi.
“Proyek itu sudah mulai masuk tender, dan saat ini masih proses lelang” katanya, Selasa (26/3).
Hesti menjelaskan, pembangunan Pasar Sonokeling itu nanti akan dikonsep modern. Yaitu dilengkapi area terbuka untuk mengakomodir masyarakat atau pedagang untuk melakukan aktivitasnya bersifat non permanen. Kemudian juga dilengkapi mini food court.
“Kalau total ada 30 kios, 10 kiosnya itu sudah dibangun tahun lalu,” tambahnya.
Fasilitas lainnya, juga dilengkapi area parkir. Area parkir tersebut setidaknya mampu menampung delapan unit mobil dan 30 unit sepeda motor
“Mudah-mudahan April ini sudah mulai dikerjakan dan targetnya selesai Oktober mendatang,” tandasnya. (*)
