KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Madiun melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) membangun Instalasi Pengelolaan Lumpur Tinja (IPLT) di wilayahnya sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pengolahan dan pembuangan limbah yang akrab lingkungan. Kepala Bidang Cipta Karya DPUPR, Hesti Setyorini mengatakan, pembangunan IPLT tersebut merupakan bantuan dari pemerintah pusat untuk Kota Madiun.
Sesuai rencana, proyek tersebut akan dibangun di kawasan Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Winongo di Kelurahan Winongo Kecamatan Manguharjo.
“Rencananya akan dilakukan tahun 2024. Saat ini masih dalam review perencanaan pembangunan dan pengadaan dokumen lingkungannya. Kalau sesuai jadwal, pekerjaan dimulai Maret nanti,” kata Hesti Setyorini, Minggu (25/2).
Lokasi IPLT, rencananya berada di lahan sebelah pintu masuk ke kawasan TPA Winongo. Lokasi itu dipilih karena pertimbangan akses jalan yang mudah dan jauh dari permukiman warga.
Lahan yang digunakan rencananya seluas 3.895 meter persegi. Sementara anggaran dari pemerintah pusat untuk pembangunan IPLT tersebut mencapai Rp11,8 miliar yang bersumber dari Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK).
“Selesai diperkirakan sampai November nanti. Yang ini bukan seperti Rusunawa. Kalau Rusunawa setelah pembangunan selesai akan diserahkan kepada pemerintah daerah. Tetapi kalau IPLT ini yang melaksanakan pemerintah daerah dari awal sampai akhir tetapi anggarannya dari pemerintah pusat,” tegasnya. (*)
