KOTA MADIUN (DinasPUPR) – Pemerintah Kota Madiun melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) mempercantik dua gapura pintu masuk di kawasan Pahlawan Religi Center (PRC). Saat ini proses pembangunannya masih terus berjalan.
Kabid Cipta Karya DPUPR Kota Madiun Sulistya Pambudi mengatakan, bangunan gapura itu disesuaikan dengan kawasan PRC. Bahkan saat ini progres di lapangan menyentuh angka 74,78 persen.
“Kita konsepnya ala timur tengah menyesuaikan kawasan PRC,” katanya, Sabtu (7/10).
Pembangunan gapura pintu masuk PRC sisi kanan-kiri itu include dengan replika jam Big Ben dan flooring PRC dengan anggaran sekitar Rp3 Miliar. Ia menargetkan akhir bulan ini, pembangunannya tuntas dikerjakan.
“Insya Allah bulan ini selesai,” ujarnya.
Gapura tersebut dibangun setinggi 7,15 meter dan lebar 5,75 meter. Proyek tersebut menurutnya menjadi salah satu prioritas pemkot, sebab menjadi jujugan wisatawan ketika berlibur di Kota Madiun.
Sebelumnya, DPUPR juga telah menuntaskan pengecatan lantai PRC menggunakan material cat jenis flexipave sehingga tahan lama. Tak hanya itu, lantainya juga disempurnakan atau diratakan dengan material mortindo.
“Sesuai arahan pak walikota, kawasan PRC ini kita percantik, kita sempurnakan agar masyarakat yang berkunjung kesini semakin nyaman, dan aman,” pungkasnya. (*)
